Retreat Cancellation Policy
For Weekend Retreats:
If you cancel your enrollment in a retreat up to two weeks prior to the start date of a retreat, you will receive a refund of your full fee minus a $30 service and administrative charge.
If you cancel your enrollment 2-14 days prior to the start date of a retreat, you will be charged 60% of the retreat cost and the balance of your fee refunded. If we are able to assign your room to someone else, you will only be charged a service and administrative fee.
If you cancel your enrollment 2 days or less prior to the start date of a retreat, you will not receive any refund.
For Week-Long Retreats:
If you cancel your enrollment in a retreat up to two weeks prior to the start date of a retreat, you will receive a refund of your full fee minus a $100 service and administrative charge.
If you cancel your enrollment 2-14 days prior to the start date of a retreat, you will be charged 60% of the retreat cost and the balance of your fee refunded. If we are able to assign your room to someone else, you will only be charged a service and administrative fee.
If you cancel your enrollment 2 days or less prior to the start date of a retreat, you will not receive any refund.
If the Santa Barbara Institute cancels a retreat for any reason, you will be refunded your full fee.

For 8-Week Retreats & CEB Teacher Training:
Deposits are non refundable and payment is due in full three months before the retreat. If a replacement that is paying in full is found then we can return the deposit and the full amount minus the administrative fee and bank charges.
For the 8 week retreat the deposit is $850 and the administrative fee is $150 if canceled three months in advance. If someone cancels within three months of the retreat then the administrative fee is $300.
For the CEBTT the deposit is $800 and administrative fee is $150. If one cancels within three months of the training then the administrative fee is $400.
No payments will be returned if a replacement is not found.
